Our Leaders

Leadership
As a family-owned business, Fortune Title Agency provides its clients with three generations of experienced leaders in the title industry. Leading by example, they represent a work ethic driven by dedication, passion and commitment to excellence.

Nick Timpanaro, Founder and President of Fortune Title Agency, began his career in title services in 1980, with an introduction to the title abstract business by his wife, Dorri and mother-in-law, Doris Petroski, who had a title abstracting business in Hudson County. This early exposure to the industry sparked his interest in the field and keeps fueling his dedication to providing Fortune Title clients with the highest level of title service. Before founding Fortune Title Agency, Inc. in 2000, Nick had stints at First Financial Title and Commerce Title Agency, Inc.
Nick is a respected leader within the title industry and is active in the New Jersey Land Title Association. Known for his innovative problem-solving skills, Nick has a reputation for resolving complex title examinations in a proactive manner while still focusing on the unparalleled customer service that has become the foundation of his culture at Fortune Title.

Nicole Timpanaro , CEO of Fortune Title Agency, officially joined the Fortune Title Agency team in 2008, though she has been part of the title family since it started.
After graduating from Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Information Systems, then earning a master’s degree from Steven’s Institute of Technology in the Management of Information Systems in 2005, Nicole entered the workforce with no intention of working for, much less leading, the family business. However, she came to Fortune in an official capacity in 2008 so that she could better balance her work life with a growing family that now includes a daughter and two sons. The job was supposed to be temporary, but Nicole quickly became an irreplaceable member of Fortune Title’s leadership team.
As soon as she came on board, Nicole identified items on the business side of the agency that needed attention. Since officially taking the reins as Fortune’s CEO, Nicole has melded the traditional people-centered values of Fortune Title with cutting-edge technological solutions.
Though it was never planned, Nicole says there could be nothing more enjoyable and rewarding than co-running the firm her father founded and ensuring that the family-first core values of Fortune Title remain the cornerstones of the company. It is not just Nick and Nicole that make Fortune a family business. Even the employees who are not related by blood are considered family, Nicole says.
In addition to improving the firm’s business locally, Nicole has helmed Fortune Title’s ascent to becoming a national player in the title industry. She joined the American Land Title Association and currently serves as Secretary of the ALTA Agent’s and Abstractors Executive Committee and sits on the ALTA Best Practices Executive Committee. On a local level, she is an active member in the New Jersey Land Title Association and the Pennsylvania Land Title Association. For Nicole, being a part of these industry organizations is not just an honor, it is a duty to improve the title industry space for the better.
“We are not just a title company, we are helping enact change for our industry,” Nicole says. “It’s amazing to have a feeling of pride for the title insurance industry.”

Raymond R. Curnew, Jr., CSO of Fortune Title Agency, brings varied and extensive real estate experience to the Fortune Title team. He’s also one of the main drivers of our success into the future. How does he excel at this role? By mixing his title knowledge with an always-burning entrepreneurial spirit and wonderful people skills.
Raymond says a family member got him interested in real estate in general. His aunt was a successful agent, and Raymond said he was always drawn to the entrepreneurial and people-focused aspects of what she did. He officially got his start in the industry by working for the Weichert Academy, eventually switching over to the title side of Weichert’s business in sales and management. After an amazing career with the Weichert Family of Companies, he ventured out on his own to reach the next level and achieve several entrepreneurial goals. In 2020, Raymond was fortunate to became a partner in Fortune Title. Now as CSO and a partner, one of his proudest accomplishments in the last five years is how much the Fortune Title’s footprint has grown and been recognized nationwide.
Collectively, he has more than 30 years of real estate experience, including 20 years devoted specifically to title. However, in addition to his title expertise, Raymond is a real estate investor and has specialized knowledge in residential and commercial real estate, as well as land development.
To this day, helping fellow real estate professionals and their customers achieve their goals is still exciting to Raymond. Specifically, when it comes to title, Raymond loves that each file is different and challenging in some way. He loves diving into the history of a property, which is why he’s a perfect fit for what we do.
Outside of the office, Raymond is a supporter of many charities and organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Monmouth Park Charity Fund and Community Options. He’s also a collector of cars and motorcycles who enjoys spending time with his family, especially at the beach, and prioritizes staying a healthy lifestyle.
Raymond describes working at Fortune Title like this: “It’s a family with a corporate flair. Our culture here is amazing, and we take everything to the heart.”

Amanda Simoni, COO of Fortune Title Agency, has been a driving force in the Fortune Title team for 23 years. Starting as a part-time employee, she worked her way up through the agency, gaining expertise and leadership experience along the way. Amanda joined Fortune Title, after having been a legal assistant, to follow the attorney she had been working with. She first met Nick Timpanaro, Fortune Title’s founder and current president, when he was a vendor at the law firm, and under his guidance, she learned to master the complexities of the industry.
As a hands-on leader, Amanda is deeply committed to teamwork, accountability, and respect for employees, clients, and vendors alike. She believes in leading by example and would never ask anyone to do something she wouldn’t do herself. Amanda’s vision for the future of the company is to position Fortune Title as a national leader in the industry. Outside of her professional life, Amanda is a proud mother of five.
