Here’s the general steps of a file’s journey when you choose Fortune Title:
Order Title. Once you have a fully executed contract, your attorney review period is complete, and your home inspections are done, it is time to order title from us.
Receive Title Commitment. Fortune Title will order all the necessary searches and have them reviewed by a licensed title officer. We will provide a title commitment identifying any liens that could affect your property.
Clear Title. If there are title issues, Fortune Title will work with all parties to clear them. We have plenty of experience resolving clouds on title and have the solutions you need to get to the closing table quickly.
Schedule Closing. Fortune Title works around your schedule and will conduct the closing anywhere and anytime.
Disburse Funds. Fortune Title will securely collect and disburse all funds related to the transaction. We have a great relationship with our bank, which means no wire fees for you!
Receive Title Insurance Policy. Fortune Title will record all documents and issue a title insurance policy once all documents are on record.
